Making the playoffs five times in the last six season’s wasn’t enough for Frank Vogel to keep his job as head coach of the Indiana Pacers. This is after the team declined to offer him a new deal after his current one expires at the end of the 2015-16 season. This is information passed on by Team President Larry Bird on Thursday.  Bird told reporters that he spoke with Vogel on Thursday morning with the coach asking him to reconsider his decision. Bird would also shoot down the notion of his former Celtics teammate Kevin McHale taking over from Vogel.  Indiana finished the regular season seventh having 45 wins against 37 losses in the Eastern Conference and lost to the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the 2016 Playoffs.  Indiana will be out looking for a Head Coach and could potentially gamble on their Marquee assistant who has yet to prove himself as a head coach but doing so would mean a season or two of transition.  As for Vogel h

JAMES TAYLOR Ex-England batsman James Taylor recounted the day his life changed on Sunday. It was a pre-season match for Nottinghamshire County at Cambridge University in the first week of April. There had been no signs or symptoms as he had one of the best ever lead-up to his season. By 5pm, he was in hospital where he remained for 16 days after being diagnosed with Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC) at the Nottingham City Hospital. Taylor was in his prime as a cricketer when his blossoming career was abruptly cut short at age 26. His one-day record was outstanding with his List  batting average being the fourth of all time just behind Legendary duo Michael Bevan and AB de Villiers, and India’s Cheteshwar Pujara.  This case is one of many Athletes whose careers have been cut short or interfered with by Heart Conditions. The German was in supreme form in Sochi on Sunday and led from start to finish as he maintained his 100 per cent victory record in 2016. Defending champion Hamilton recovered from 10 th on the grid following more unreliability problems in qualifying to take second place and limit the damage to his title chances. The Briton also had further problems during the race as he was instructed that his car had a ‘water pressure’ problem with less than 20 laps to go after he had cut Rosberg’s lead down to seven seconds. Hamilton after the race did however say that the issue did not show itself in the car and he had to back off and avoid being on full throttle at the straight stretches. There was more drama in the race as Red Bull’s Daniil Kvyat hit Ferrari’s Sebastien Vettel twice in two corners. The Russian Carried too much speed into Turn Two on the opening lap a

Leicester walked into the ‘Theatre of Dreams’ needing any sort of victory to claim their first top-flight title in their 132-year History.  Claudio Ranieri’s men started nervously and found themselves in the backfoot when Antonio Valencia made light work of Christian Fuchs on the left side of the pitch before he picked out Anthony Martial with a pinpoint cross. Martial made easy work of the cross tapping in past Kasper Schmeichel to make it 1-0. This Goal was Anthony Martial’s ninth in the premier league this season.  The Visitors showed character levelling the scores nine minutes later after a Christian Fuchs free-kick was headed home by Wes Morgan.  The second half saw PFA’s Player of the season Riyad Mahrez and teammate Leonardo Ulloa come close, before Chris Smalling’s header rattled the post with just over 1
